Soft Pink Seaglass Creation by Love Designs

Click above link to view
ONE OF A KIND PIECE. UNIQUE. This piece of seaglass is EXTREMELY RARE! When my sister found this piece of seaglass off the shore of Lake Erie in Mentor OH, she was very excited...you just don't find this everyday or even once in an entire year! It has a slight pink tint, so it was difficult to get an accurate color by camera, but, you should be able to see it from the pics I took.

Hannah carefully wrapped this piece with Artistic Wire in an intricate and very artsy design of swirls and circles. It is securely attached to a sterling silver link with two pink Swarovski Crystal bicones which draws out the pink in the glass and beautifully offsets this piece.

Then pendant is attached to figure 8 sterling silver chain and finished with a sterling silver lobster clasp.

Necklace length: 18 inches

In stock and ready for IMMEDIATE SHIPMENT!

This ring is fun and beautiful! This emerald piece of seaglass was found off the shores of Lake Erie in Mentor, OH. It is securely wrapped in Artistic Wire using an artistic swirl design!
By now, you've got to know that my sister and I love Designing Seaglass Creations. We are obsessed with finding and discovering new pieces for our latest designs! The weather is absolutely gorgeous in NorthEast Oh and we are so excited to get out on the beach and not freeze our behinds off in the process of finding new treasures.

My sister Hannah designed this Artsy seaglass ring pictured above. She is getting very creative these days with her swirls, twists and turns and I think the final result is fantastic! I know that as we find more seaglass among the rocks off the shores of Lake Erie her designs are just going to get even better! She is always pushing herself to outdo her last design and is constantly coming up with new design ideas! I think I have more fun watching her design jewelry and seeing the final product than I do designing my own creations! There is nothing better than to have someone near you who not only helps you but, moves you creatively. She is one of a kind and I don't know what I would do without her! So, be sure to check out this ring and the rest of Hannah's designs at our online stores:

Custom Wedding Jewelry

Custom Jewelry Design
We love to customize jewelry for our customers. Customizing jewelry pieces draws out our creativity and pushes us to deliver to you a unique and beautiful design that fits your personal taste. If you've never ordered custom jewelry, the process may seem intimidating. But, let me assure you, we will walk you through the entire process and keep you personally involved in the decision making process every step of the way! We are interested in your personal taste and ideas for your wedding, bridesmaids, or special evening and we want to make your night memorable, knowing that you were personally involved in the design process.

In order to help you feel more at ease with the Custom Design process....here is an example of a Custom Wedding Necklace that my sister and I are working on right at this moment. The first is for a Bride who has requested a Custom Bridal Necklace and following is her exact request via our Etsy store:
"I am looking for a bridal necklace for a strapless fully beaded/lace dress for my wedding July 18th, 2009. I would like to incorporate vintage (20s, 40s, 50s - old hollywood glamour etc.) inspired elements to go with our theme, and also my engagement ring (which is set in 14k white gold with the center stone being about a 4 carat emerald-cut amethyst with pave diamond surround). Our wedding is being held in a garden like setting, so incorporating naturalistic settings and stones would be ideal,..."

From this description and a picture of her Wedding Dress (which I am not at liberty to show a pic of), we searched for the elements that she described. One being Amethyst Gemstones as a focal component, two incorporating the Vintage and Garden element, and Three adding some Hollywood Glam! We kept the Bride intimately involved in the entire process and emailed our findings to her and did not move forward without her go ahead. After we added all design elements we came up with a final design. Following the exact description of the final design, find the pictures of what the Bride picked with our help to be the main elements in her Custom Bridal Necklace.....

"I will desribe the necklace to you and put the pictures in order that we are going to use them. The front of your necklace is going to start with drops of amethyst and pink amethyst marquis style beads. This will be about two inches of drop. Around your neck will be Swarovski crystal pearls finished with sterling silver filagree bead caps to give it a vintage flair. Intermixed with the pearls will be slightly smaller real amethyst faceted round beads. There will be about six pearl/amethyst beads per side. The back of your dress will be finished off with a gorgeous s-style sterling silver clasp and a 5-6 inch drop of the darker amethyst marquis style beads. We will be using sterling silver 3.5mm Figure eight chain."

The pics above are all the gemstones, pearls, vintage detail and sterling silver chain which will be incorporated into the final necklace. We are currently working on the final details of this necklace and when finished we will show you the final result. Be sure to check back in with us for the stunning, beautiful, and whimsical picture of this Custom Bridal Necklace created by the Bride and Love Designs!

Our Passion, Our Mission...PLEASE READ!

I have a passion and a mission! Many of you who know me don't realize this about me, but, very early on in life, the Lord put the children on my heart. Children who are suffering, starving, living in deplorable conditions, and without hope. I am passionate about these children. At the time, I felt too small and insignificant to help these children who were obviously starving and live in conditions that are unbearable. However, over the last few years, the Lord has shown me that He is a God of multiplication and that is how His Kingdom operates. I now know that I am very significant in the eyes of God and when we all work together for a common cause, amazing things happen.

Currently, I am passionate for children suffering from Leprosy. I did not realize that this disease even existed anymore. But it does and it is a disease that not only disforms the person who has it and causes terrible pain, it also destroys families and any hope of living life. These children are outcasts and are literally removed or shunned from their families to live in garbage dumps or taken to care centers with other victims of leprosy as young as five years old. As a mother, my heart is literally aching when I think of a five year old, suffering and in pain, and not able to find any comfort in the arms of his mother. The truly sad part, this disease is curable and can be prevented! The cost of curing one child is only 300 dollars. Most of our insurance copays in the U.S. is one thousand dollars and we are so blessed to have access to hospitals, doctors, and medicine to cure our children when they are sick! Only 300 dollars and their life is totally transformed. The families of these children are extremely poor and do not have the money to cure their children.

Last year, I cured one child of leprosy. This year, as I was speaking to the Lord, He told me I was thinking too small. He is a big God and I needed to think bigger. So this year He has put it on my heart to cure 10 children of leprosy! With God all things are possible! So I'm believing God for 10 children. So far, I have sent enough money to cure 3. So, that means I only have 7 to go. .......

This was last year's post. Just had to re-post to update you all that Hannah and I were able to cure 8.5 children with our sales from last year. We did not make the 10 we wanted to, but, curing 8 children is wonderful! This year I want to set a new goal of 15 children and I believe that we serve a powerful God who loves His children and we will meet out new goal! Thank you to everyone who supported us last year! You helped save the lives of 8 children and reunite them with their families!

With that in mind, one way Hannah and I raise money to help these children is through our jewelry business. So I'm sending a shout out to all of you who would like to support our business and help those in need. Currently, 10 percent of all gross sales (we do not take into account our expenses) go to this mission and other charities. As our business increases, I would like to increase the amount that we give, but we need to increase sales first.

Hannah and I are passionate about our jewelry and are continually striving creatively. Our designs have grown tremendously in the past year and we are currently personalizing wedding jewelry, both for the bride and her bridesmaids. We design Seaglass Jewelry, Wire Wrapped Jewelry, Antiqued and Vintage Style Jewelry. Currently, we are working on a new line of Childrens Jewelry and Mens Jewelry. We specialize in making our jewelry personal and also offer name bracelets and would love to sit down with you to help you create your own jewelry. We also have a line of jewelry in our on-line store at http://www.lovescreation.etsy.com and http://www.LoveDesigns.ArtFire.com. Follow our blog to stay up to date on our Leprosy Mission!

If you would like to learn more about leprosy, visit their website at www.leprosy.org. Thank you so much for taking your time to read this!! May God bless you all!
